Manages the overall technical and sales effort in International business, including setting targets, tracking, training and allocating resources. Develops and builds a professional relationship with international laboratories under the corporation systems.
Facilitates the development and execution of targeted sales plans in key industry sectors and prioritizes this development based upon size of opportunity, strategic importance and likelihood of success to grow internationally longterm business relationships with key global customers
Develops leads and expands a professional documentation to support business objectives. Works closely with USA headquarters and others to understand forecasted capacity availability to staff Brazil or Argentina resources appropriately
Manages the integration of existing productspecific sales organizations, which may or may not have the capability to perform using a new model for technical sales
Develops sales capabilities within the organization including recruiting, training and coaching as well as formalized sales processes and tools required to support the activities
Develops sales strategies/plans for key markets consistent with Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Latin America marketing plans focusing priorities that generate short and longterm revenue growth
Manages sales incentives programs to ensure achievement of business objectives (Volumes, Key accounts, Crossselling and Customer base) and to promote behaviors consistent with UL’s business philosophy
Manages channel costtoserve using efficient resource allocation and tracking mechanism to ensure sales productivity level is being met
Interfaces with marketing staff with USA and Argentina to continuously develop relationships with the highest priority accounts
Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives (Volumes, Key accounts, Crossselling and Customer base), providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to
Matrix report with direct report for USA headquarters and doted report to the Brazilian GM.
Performs other duties as directed.
Strong technical and business/economic foundation, including formal account planning, sales strategy development, sales tracking and measurement.
Experience in financial mathematics, control.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business administration, technical field or related field plus generally SOLID experience in team management.
